[Apr 10th | 16-21 UTC | LKPR] Prague - Runway to Hell
Czech VACC and Czech Airlines Virtual invite you jointly again to the high density fly-in in Prague. We offer full air traffic control with 10 ATC positions, advanced flight booking system with more than 200 flights and only one active runway in Prague - it means more than 30 movements per hour, full comparable with the real traffic.
We want you again to explore how the real pilots feel:
* when they hear late landing clearance,
* when they must vacate as soon as it gets,
* when they are number six on approach,
* when they are cleared for immediate take off,
* when they have no chance to make any mistake!
To participate in the "Runway to Hell" event:
* visit fly-in home page at http://rth.csavirtual.cz
* check the booking roster at http://rth.csavirtual.cz/flights-booking
* select a flight and book it or create your own by pressing "Request Flight"
* if you are a VA member, contact your VA staff and suggest your VA sends a batch request to the fly-in
* download charts and manuals and familiarize yourself with the documents: http://www.vacc-cz.org/index.php?sect=fir
* think about practising, April 10th is getting close.
Application Notes:
* the booking system is still growing, new flights are being generated continueously
* GA and VFR training Flights to controlled airspace available too
* the booking system will generate flight plans foreEuropean flights at least and you will receive your flight briefing by email
* the event will use March 2010 AIRAC and maps available unchanged as of December 2009, AIRAC 08APR10 will be not implemented
* virtual airlines are kindly requsted to send in their flight slot requests to "ps at vacc-cz.org"
