Default [Feb 28th | 18-23 UTC | HTKJ, HKJK] The Snows of Kilimanjaro

    Liebe Kollegen,

    Alex

    Hier die Original-Ankündigung:

It came with a rush; not as a rush of water nor of wind; but of a sudden evil-smelling emptiness...

VATSIM Central Africa gets literate: We proudly present our next major event - and this time it has a famous title: The Snows of Kilimajaro! On February, 28th, we feature Kilimajaro International Airport HTKJ at Tanzania and Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta Airport HKJK at Kenya. Both airports will be fully staffed.

Give a tribute to Mr. Ernest Hemingway and join us at the "The Snows of Kilimajaro" Event.

Attention 1: Please mind the awesome, but tricky terrain. Minimum sector altitude is FL220!

Attention 2: FS9 pilots with default or Tanzania scenery (see below) will have no ILS 09. Workaround: If you install the FSX scenery on your FS9 system, you will at least have the ILS (but not the buildings...). In case that doesn't work for you, you can either go for the visual or for the RNAV Approach (for charts see below).
