Holiday season is coming again and a lot of tourists will visit the paradise island idylls in the Indian Ocean. But why not flying from one paradise to another? VATSIM Central Africa (VATCAF) and VATSIM West Asia (VATWA) proudly present a full staffed ATC bridge between the Seychelles in eastern Africa and the Maldives in western Asia. The Event takes place on Saturday, March 8th from 1500 till 1900 UTC. Get your medium or longhaul aircrafts out and fly between the Seychelles International Airport, Mahé (FSIA) and the Ibrahim Nasir Intl., Malé, Maldives (VRMM).


As the flights are routed over the ocean, far away from the continents, you can expect Non-Radar ATC. You will also experience procedural control via position reports in Oceanic Airspace and an unforgettable approach into Mahé or Malé. The flight time will take about 2 hours depending on your aircraft type. Or you take your light GA plane out and do some sightseeing above the fascinating islands archipelagic for example to Praslin Airport (FSPP), Seychelles or to Gan Island (VRMG), Maldives.
