It is our great pleasure to announce, that vACCBiH's greatest annual event, Sarajevo '84 Winter Olympics Rush - RE-WINDED, this year is going bigger and live from Sarajevo, the 1984 Winter Olympics Capital, celebrating 30th anniversary of the Sarajevo '84 Winter Olympics!
The event will be held at Saturday, February 8th 0700-2200z from Hotel Holiday Sarajevo - The Olympic Hotel.
The event will hereby be in full Sarajevo '84 Winter Olympics spirit, as Hotel Holiday Sarajevo was built for the Sarajevo '84 Winter Olympics; we will full day have live broadcast from Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics; even our "control center" table layout will look like the squared Sarajevo '84 Winter Olympics logo and we will have 7 Former Winter Olympics Cities as Partner Airports.
The vACCBiH team will together with invited vACC teams from the region, local pilots and other guests, gather for an interesting weekend consisting of educational presentations and trips related to BiH aviation, as well skiing on the slopes of the Winter Olympic Mountains of Bjelasnica and Jahorina.
But most important, being online fully staffed at Sarajevo/LQSA with support from RL Sarajevo ATCos, as well as having 7 Former Winter Olympics Cities Partner Airports, 7 Bonus Partner Airports, 1 Special Live Guest Partner Airport, 2 Feeder Airports and 3 Alternates online as inspiration where to fly and re-wind the Sarajevo '84 Winter Olympics Rush!
