Holiday season in Namibia and Angola, a lot of tourists visit the Namib desert region during the summer season on the southern hemisphere. We open will open two major airports of this region and invite you to cross the Namib desert, one of the most fascinating deserts in Africa, on your flight between Luanda and Windhoek!
VATSIM Central & South Africa divisions (VATCAF & VATSAF) proudly presents full staffed ATC between Angola and Namibia for your fly-in. The Event takes place on Sunday, January 26th from 18 till 22 UTC. Get your medium or longhaul aircrafts out and fly 1.000 miles over the spectacular landscape of Angola and Namibia!


For sure you can fly VFR as well. Fly along the atlantic coast at its best, beautiful dunes, sand seas and amazing coloured sunset. Or fly with your small aircrafts to airfields like Ondjiva or Lobito. VATSIM Central Africa proudly celebrates the opening of the Luanda FIR. All domestic airports in Angola will be covered by Luanda Control, so you are invited to fly there with your regional airliners.
