Have a short winter break in County Clare Ireland. Visit Bunratty Castle or
have a look at the stunning views at the Cliffs of Moher.
Shannon Airport
One of the three most important airports in Ireland, Shannon Airport has a
long history of transatlantic service. Originally an important refuelling
stop for flights bound for North America, it has since developed into both
an important regional hub and a strategic last stop for savvy passengers
capitalising on the US pre-screening facilities for international
passengers.
Today, Shannon Airport serves around 1.75 million passengers every year.
The main carriers here are Aer Lingus and Ryanair, and they are backed by
several US-based airlines and a network of charter routes connecting to
holiday destinations in across Europe, the Canaries and the Balearics.
Vateir controllers will be fully staffing EINN for this event.
