Virtual Airlines around the world!

vACC Switzerland is pleased to announce the one and only original VA-Meeting 2013. 6 April 2013, we invite you to our major airport Zurich (LSZH) to participate in our biggest event we provide (and perhaps the biggest VA-Event on VATSIM). So put that date in big letters into your calendar.

This yearly event has already tradition since 2007 and we are very happy to offer you a fully staffed airspace this year again. Not only the Swiss controllers will be online, also our neighbours will help us to manage the massive traffic. Additionally our partner airports will also provide ATC services in order to offer you complete coverage during your flight. Together with them all, you can expect full coverage over the heart of Europe.

The challenge for your VA is to bring as many pilots as possible to Zurich this day in order to get an aircraft painted in your airline’s colours on the banner of the following year. For this reason your VA has to be registred on our website and provide all their pilots the unique VA code received after the VA registration. This code must be a part of your flightplan remarks in order to count your flight for your VA.

Even if this event is specially made for VA’s, you can of course also fly without being a member of a VA. We will be able to find an appropriate parking for each of you at Switzerland’s busiest airport. Please notice that all traffic in Zurich need slots during the event (except VFR).

The registration process for virtual airlines is now open! Register your airline and announce with that your participation at this huge event.
Inform your pilots about this event and ask them to reserve April 6th. Or tell your event manager to register your virtual airline that you and your pilot colleagues can have a interessting flight.
Enhance the prestige of your VA by participating at the VA-Meeting, show the others your fleet and impress them with a large number of pilots flying to Zurich.
The VA registration is also needed to count the number of participating pilots per VA correctly and give other participants an overview of the airlines they may expect.
The slot booking for pilots will start later. We will then inform all registred VAs via mail. Stay tuned and visit us shortly again!

It takes less than a month now until VAs from all over the world will meet in Zurich. Perhaps you are already a little bit impatient and waiting to book your flight. There are good news!
The registration process for virtual pilots will open Sunday, March 10th at 1600z. This will allow pilots to register themselfes on our event homepage.
This registration does not include the slot booking! The slot booking will open March 16th at 1600z, 3 weeks before the meeting.
So, do your registration today to be ready for the slot booking next Saturday!

Many of the slots will be available only for a certain leg from/to one of our partner airports. Because we coordinated the online times, you can expect the best service with these slots.

Hast du dich registriert? Nach der Registrierung habe ich eine Email mit einem Passwort bekommen und damit hat alles geklappt.

Es gilt kein bereits vorhandener Account. Du musst auf der Webseite eine einmalige (für dieses Jahr) Registrierung vornehmen.

Danach erhältst du eine Mail mit welcher du deine Adresse und somit deinen Account bestätigen kannst. Sobald dies erfolgt ist, kannst du mit buchen loslegen. Viel Spass!

Hallo Nachbarn,

ich bin leider erst heute auf das Event aufmerksam geworden, da ich nicht erwartet habe, heute einen "Strohwitwer"-Abend zu haben . Allerdings ist die Slotbuchung bereits abgeschalten worden - würdet ihr es mir sehr übel nehmen, wenn ich ohne Slot vorbei schaue?
