Accra with its goldcoast is one of the preferred holiday destinations in western Africa. The city is the capital of Ghana and one of the busiest airports on the west coast. You can expect single runway operations in an impressive landscape.

For the first time in this year the VATSIM Central Africa division presents the full staffed Accra airport. The event takes place on Sunday, 15th from 17 till 21 UTC. Get your medium or longhaul aircrafts out of the hangar and fly to or from Accra International Airport (DGAA).

Accra is a good departure and arrival airport for short hops for example to Lomé (DXXX), Cotonou (DBBB), Lagos (DNMM), Abidjan (DIAP) or Sao Tome (FPST). But Accra is also a great longhaul destination, being served for instance by Lufthansa, KLM, British Airways, Emirates, Virgin Atlantic Airways and Alitalia.
