On 14.04.2012 we're going to organise something on the VATSIM, what you'll never forget : 7 controllers over Hungary - even more around the counry, more than 250 flights in 12 hours. Holdings,late landing clearances, etc: That's HungaroControl 10th birthday event.

The event will take place on the 14th of April ,2012, from 0600 UTC until 1800 UTC

On this day we're going to celebrate the 10th birthday of the HungaroControl(http://www.hungarocontrol.hu [1]), and the 66th birthday of the MALÉV (Hungarian Airlines) with full-covered hungarian skies by our controllers. ( LHBP DEL/GND/TWR/APP, LHCC CTR, LHSM TWR, LHDC TWR)
You can also expect further controllers around the country - Vienna (LOVV and LOWW) is going to be online also in that 12 hours, Eurocontrols in the morning and in the early afternoon, and you can also expect for the neighbouring FIRs to be online for the evening rush hours.
Other speciality of the event that we're going to control from the HungaroControl, where our colleagues, the real controllers are controlling the real Hungarian airspace.
Some of the MALÉV VA's and the European Express's pilots will make a flight from the spot, according to their own timetables. Our pupose to simulate a 'saturday traffic' on Budapest, with all of the MALÉV flights, and even more.
