We would like to very kindly invite you to Fly-in to Praha Ruzyne International Airport in honour of Vaclav Havel who passed away on Sunday 18th December 2011.

Vaclav Havel was an absurdist playwright who turned political activist fighting against Czechoslovak Communist
government. For his ideas, he was arrested, and spent in prison four and a half years. In 1989, he became a symbol of
Czech Velvet Revolution. Afterwards he was elected the last president of Czechoslovakia (before the splitting of the Czech and Slovak Republics), and re-elected as the first president of the newly established Czech Republic.

Although the Nobel Peace Price was never awarded to him, he was nominated many times. Vaclav Havel remained
politically active, and critized the non-democratic regimes until his death.

His whole-life motto was: “Truth and love triumph over lies and hate.”
