Nothing in life is sure but death and taxes. Thomas Wand, VATSIM’s only member from the fiscal haven of Liechtenstein, is going to prove that great air traffic control also is. vACC Switzerland invites you to fly to, from or through Switzerland on Tuesday, July 12th, and participate in this practical controller test.
To make sure that your bank deposits are not the only thing that creates returns, our partners in Copenhagen, Cologne and Milano are available for a quick turnaround. As with the longitudinal Tuesday, the event lasts until 2100z, which allows anything from short hops to solid mid-range.
Due to the event’s nature, temporarily reduced staffing at Zurich can be foreseen. This does however free some resources, so investing some time in a visit to Geneva and some other minors (e.g. Sion, Basle) may be beneficial.
Simplified prospectus:
Controller practical test on Swiss Radar (LSAS_CTR)
Partner airports EKCH, EDDK and LIMC
Staffing from 1800z to 2100z
