Liebe Kollegen,

am kommenden Sonntag rücken wir bei VATCAF mal wieder die Accra FIR in den Vordergrund - und laden euch zum Ghana Gold Rush Event ein. Vor allem aber findet bei diesem Event auch das S3 Examen von Max statt, er wird von 18-20 UTC geprüft. Bitte helft ihm mit euren Flügen von/nach Accra oder Lomé.

VATSIM Central Africa invites all pilots to the first Ghana Gold Rush Event on Vatsim! It's taking place on February 27th at Accra DGAA, the capital of Ghana - which was generally known as the "Goldcoast" in former times.

Now it's time for a gold rush at Ghana again! Come and visit us with your large jet airliners or your single engine props, with your regional aircraft or with your helicopters – every kind of traffic is most welcome.

Accra FIR will be fully staffed with Center, Approach, Tower and Ground. Additionally, we'll open neighbouring airport of Lagos DNMM for a nice racetrack between both airports.

But now the main important fact: The Event will also host the S3 Exam of Mr. Max Armerding on Accra Approach. Please help Max to earn his rating.

Liebe Kollegen,

ich möchte mich noch mal ganz herzlich für den tollen Traffic gestern Abend in Accra bedanken. Es war eines unserer bestbesuchten Events überhaupt und ohne Frage auch die Prüfung mit dem stärksten Verkehr bisher. Ich selbst durfte als Prüfer ja über größere Teile des Abends nur zuschauen, aber selbst das hat schon Spaß gemacht.
