Put your spotlight on Murtala Muhammed International Airport!
VATSIM Central Africa proudly presents it's next huge event - the "Light up Lagos" flyin on saturday, November 27th (1800 till 2300 UTC).
Expect Nigeria's main airport to be fully staffed on that evening, but even more: In cooperation with Langen FIR, Germany, we invite all pilots to shuttle between Duesseldorf EDDL and Lagos DNMM on this day. Our german friends host their "Waltrop Radar Noon2Midnight" Event between 1100 and 2300 UTC, that makes a good opportunity for flights from Duesseldorf to Lagos. The Flight time between both airports will be around 6,5 hours.
Additionally, to give you ATC coverage all over Africa, our northern friends will open North Africa Control.
Information about Lagos: Murtala Muhammed International is one of the busiest airports in Central Africa, being served by many african and international airlines. Amongst others, direct flights are available from and to Paris, London, Frankfurt, Rome, Atlanta, Madrid, Amsterdam, Johannesburg and Istanbul.
