[December 14th, 10-12z] Winter Atlantic Crossing
As winter sets in and the festive lights begin to glow, it’s time for our annual long-haul adventure. This year, our Winter Atlantic Crossing will take us from Zurich to Toronto on Sunday, the 14th of December. Depart Zurich (LSZH) between 10:00z and 12:00z and arrive in Toronto (CYYZ) between 18:00z and 21:00z.
Our journey begins in Zurich, where you will depart from Switzerland’s global gateway as the city transitions into its winter charm. As you climb out, you will enjoy sweeping views of snow-brushed landscapes and the Alps in their seasonal attire. As you leave Europe behind, the route will carry you westwards across the North Atlantic, setting the scene for a picturesque crossing to North America.
On the other side of the pond, Toronto awaits with all the trappings of a crisp Canadian winter afternoon. As you descend towards the city, you may be greeted by clear blue skies brightening the snowy landscape, or by gentle snowflakes drifting in from Lake Ontario. Approaching Pearson, Toronto’s skyline is framed by winter light, creating a calm and distinctly seasonal setting. Whether you arrive under a bright sun or soft overcast, the city offers a warm and festive finale to your transatlantic journey.
