Default [14th April, 0730-1330z] Switzerland In Lights

Riddle me this: what do you get when you combine a nationwide occasion, a room full of skilled controllers and proficient service offered at a variety of intricate and unique airports? Undeniably, you achieve a popular event franchise that has something for every pilot to enjoy! Indeed, the "Switzerland In Lights" event is back for another edition, this time featuring 6 packed hours of controlling from 07:30z to 13:30z on the 14th of April. Join us in Geneva (LSGG), Zurich (LSZH) or Bern (LSZB); or if you're looking for something different, pick any Swiss airport you'd like and enjoy full service along the way.

Geneva is the perfect middle ground for all aviation enthusiasts; a busy and dense airport, buzzing with commercial and business traffic and abound with international destinations. But we can't forget its undeniable natural beauty; nestled at the foot of both the Jura and Alp mountain ranges, this lakeside airports is a scenic marvel that makes it a fan favourite.

If you're looking for nature, then Bern is your destination. Located in the center of the country's heartland, this modest airport boasts complex procedures and challenging approaches over verdant and dramatic views of the winding Aare river that will have you balancing your yoke in one hand and your camera in the other.

Or perhaps you crave pure traffic and activity, in which case, set your sights for Zurich. The national hub for aviation, this 3-runway landmark is a deceptively complicated airport that will have you tackling packed aprons, last-second landings and rolling takeoffs which keep even the most seasoned of aviators on their toes.

Whether for its natural landscape, dense airspaces, complex procedures or unique airports, Switzerland has so much to offer and never ceases to surprise. So join us this Sunday morning for a flight to remember over an airspace you wont soon forget!

Thank you to all the staff making this event possible.
I flew as SWR8V from LSGG to LSZH and from GVA Delivery to ZRH Apron everyone was top-notch! Me myself, I have a few things that I could have done better (messed up a few readbacks ) and I'm sorry for giving LSZH_N_TWR a hard time while vacating the runway with 3fps (the combination of fenix, high graphic settings and dense vatsim traffic seems to be a bit too much for my Rig )

Yes, that kept my heart rate up and running ;-) It was a close call for the following traffic, but he did made it to the runway.
GLaDOS: "I thought about our dilemma, and I came up with a solution that I honestly think works out best for one of both of us."
