Default [26th March, 08-14z] Switzerland In Lights

Set your calendars and prepare your planes as vACC Switzerland is readying up for its biggest event of the year! Join us in Swiss airspace on the 26th of March from 08:00z to 14:00z and enjoy service at all our airports for a day to remember. We will be particularly glad to welcome you at our members’ favourite airports; Geneva (LSGG), Bern (LSZB), Zurich (LSZH) and St. Gallen-Altenrhein (LSZR).

Geneva is a capable and popular single-runway airport which has much to offer, from a busy airspace to breath-taking views of the majestic Alps. Fly IFR to watch our controllers skilfully squeeze you into the perfect sequence, or perhaps opt for VFR and watch the glimmering lake shine on your arrival.

Though it looks like a modest regional airport from afar, do not be fooled as Bern offers complex procedures and dramatic scenery. Catering to a wide variety of flyers, Bern is sure to please those looking for a more unique flying experience.

For the true high traffic and long haul experience, Zurich remains unparalleled. This complex 3-runway airport will keep you on your toes waiting for that late landing clearance or rolling takeoff. Enjoy flying through some of our densest and busiest airspaces with the help of our expert ATCOs.

With its short runway and intricate procedures, Altenrhein is not for the faint-hearted. Nestled between busy airspaces and towering mountains, this airport is sure to keep you poised and on your toes, but best to leave your commercial jets in the hangar.

This and so much more await you for this unique and monumental event of truly impressive calibre. Switzerland is full of surprises, natural beauty, historic airports and aviation pedigree. We are online and eager to please, so pack your bags and join us for an online-day to remember!
