METAR data feed issues

Due to recent data glitches of the METAR source VATSIM uses, the data provided through the VATSIM network is not always current. Instead, (random) older METARs might be feed. Please verify the timestamp of a METAR information provided carefully before using it. This issue is valid for all METAR information obtained via the VATSIM network.

Controllers
In order to prevent broadcasting outdated METAR information, please verify every METAR and update the ATIS designator and text manually once a correct METAR is received. When using EuroScope to create the ATIS, do not use the auto-update function until further notice.
Revert to our WeatherInfo plugin and use the commands .wxm and .wxt for up-to-date weather information.

Pilots
Be aware that also weather requests via dot commands of the pilot client are affected. Revert to alternate sources for current weather reports, such as a specific weather application.
