Status changed to VISITOR (and hopefully back)

Liebe Controller & Piloten der vACC Schweiz

Gegebenenfalls habt ihr heute morgen eine eMail bekommen, dass ihr nicht mehr der vACC Schweiz zugeordnet seid und dementsprechend euer Status gewechselt wurde zu "VISITOR".

Bislang beruhte unser Check darauf, dass die Mitglieder der Region EUR, der Division EUD und der Subdivision SUI zugeordnet sein mussten. Heute Nacht wurde aber anscheinend die Region umbenannt zu EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) weshalb unser Synchronisations-Script fälschlicherweise dachte, dass ihr nicht mehr zu der vACC Schweiz gehört.

Dies ist selbstverständlich falsch. Ich habe nun alle aktiven Accounts die zu EMEA / EUD / SUI gehören nochmals geprüft und den Status auf Controller, Pilot oder Controller & Pilot zurück korrigiert.
Sollte euer Status nicht korrekt sein, könnt ihr in eurem Profil einen neuen Status beantragen.

Entschuldigt bitte dieses Versehen, es wurden Massnahmen getroffen, um zumindest diesen Fall in Zukunft abzufangen.
In diesem Sinne, herzlich willkommen in der neuen Region "EMEA" .

Dear Controllers & Pilots of vACC Switzerland

You may got an eMail this morning, that you are no longer assigned to vACC Switzerland and therefore your membership-status was changed to "VISITOR".

In the past we made a check, if our members are assigned to the Region EUR, the Division EUD and the Subdivision SUI.
It looks like that VATSIM renamed the Region tonight to EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), so our synchronization script assumed, that you are no longer assigned to vACC Switzerland.

This is - of course - wrong. I have now checked all active Accounts who are assigned to EMEA / EUD / SUI and changed their Status to Controller, Pilot or Controller & Pilot.
If your Status is still not correct, please request the correct one in your profile so we can correct it as well.

Of course I have now implemented another check to avoid such a mistake in the future.
I apologize for the circumstances, I hope for your understanding...
