To compile it, though, you have to own the corresponding SDK for the Simulator to Export it to. In FSX/P3D, again, AFAICT (know for sure for FSX), the default NAVAIDS cannot be deleted, only masked. For the exact Process to do this, you can consult the Scenery-Builder's corresponding manual. Thereafter you can add a "custom" NAVAID, which reflects the one you want to have in Sim. In ADE X this Process is pretty straightforward, as soon as you are somewhat used to it.
Since i only own FSX SDK and i do not use FSX anymore, i cannot really help with anything thats P3D related, except for the hint that it's pretty much the same process, just a different SDK to be used for compilation (differences FS9-FSX-P3D are mostly explained in ADE X or self-explanatory).
