[23 MAY 20 | 1600-2100z] Flying North (EDDM<>ESSA)
Nach dem großen Erfolg des ersten Fly-North-Events zwischen München und Kopenhagen, freut sich die RG München darauf, euch wieder gemeinsam mit VATSIM Scandinavia hiermit der Fortsetzung dieser Reihe mit einem City-Shuttle zwischen München (EDDM) und Stockhom (ESSA) anbieten zu können.
Am Samstag, den 23.05.2020, werden hierfür nicht nur der "Stockholm Arlanda Airport" und der "Franz Josef Strauß" Airport München von 1600z (18:00 lcl) bis 2100z (23:00 lcl) für euch besetzt sein, sondern auch auf der gesamten Route für volle ATC-Abdeckung gesorgt sein.
Die Landeshauptstädte sind nicht nur beide im 11. Jahrhundert gegründet worden, sie blicken auch jeweils auf eine königliche Vergangenheit. Während das Königreich Bayern jedoch dem 2. Weltkrieg zum Opfer gefallen ist, hat die schwedische Monarchie bis heute überdauert, wenn auch nur als parlamentarische Monarchie ohne reale Machtbefugnisse.
Also putzt eure Cockpitscheiben, plant eure Route und genießt einen einmaligen Flug zwischen diesen beiden historischen Städten. Die Kontroller erwarten euch mit ihrem Service an beiden Airports und für ambitionierte Piloten sollte die Zeit sogar für Hin- und Rückflug ausreichend sein.

Therefore, on Saturday, the 23th of May 2020 not only will the “Stockholm Arlanda Airport” and the “Franz Josef Strauß” Airport Munich be staffed for you from 1600z (18:00 lcl) until 2100z (23:00 lcl), we even offer you full enroute sevice.
The state capitals were not only both founded in the 11th century, they also each have a royal past. However, while the Kingdom of Bavaria fell victim to World War II, the Swedish monarchy has survived to this day, if only as a parliamentary monarchy without real powers.
So clean your cockpit windows, plan your route and enjoy a unique flight between these two historic cities. The controllers await you with their service at both airports and for ambitious pilots there should even be enough time for a return flight.
