Swift Pilot Client released

From the Facebook page of the Vatsim Pilot Client Project swift:

Swift has been released!
Many thanks to all developer, contributing person and vatsim board members over the years.
The biggest thanks goes out to Roland W., Mathew S. and Klaus B. for getting the project finished.

Here the link for download and everything which is required, to use the new client.

Envoy, have fun, keep contributing as it’s open source and see you up there soon. 🙂

Using swift with X-Plane, it works great. Voice quality seems much better than with the other client, not sure why.
It looks a bit intimidating with all its functions. Maybe that’s going to change with the final version?

Der Sound ist um einiges besser als mit XSquawkBox.

Die Darstellung der Flugzeuge ist viel besser und mit dem CSL- Fix, habe ich noch kein Flugzeug in der Luft oder im Boden gesehen!

Found the whole client very confusing with the multiple components and complicated model matching system.

After a few hours of fiddling I seemed to have got it working properly, will have to see how it holds up on a busy day.

I'm using Swift with X-Plane and haven't had any problems with it, it just works and I really like it!
