    Default projectFLY v2.2 Group Flight

    Dear Friends,

Project Fly will do an event tomorrow from Rome to London. Their routing will cross our airspace above Valais and Lausanne.

Routing: SOVAN L995 AMTEL DCT CERVI UM872 MOLUS UT423 CLM UM733 PIREG UT421 KUNAV

Here find a screenshot of their routing crossing switzerland:

The event should start around 13z, with takeoff around 14z, so expect first pilots around 14z.
Last group flight was organized from Paris to Stockholm, and more than 100 departures were registered. A countinous flow of takeoff could be observed for 2.5 hours in Paris. A lot of traffic could be expected again this time.

    Radar Controllers, have fun !

    Afternoon all,
Tomorrow marks the release of projectFLY v2.2. To celebrate this, as previously discussed, we're going to host a group flight on the VATSIM network. Full ATC has been arranged.
Here is all the information you'll need:
Departure time: As close to 1400z as possible.
    Departure: Rome (LIRF/FCO)
    Arrival: Gatwick (EGKK/LGW)

Routing: SOVAN L995 AMTEL DCT CERVI UM872 MOLUS UT423 CLM UM733 PIREG UT421 KUNAV
Altitude: Even flight levels (eg. FL320/FL340/FL360)

Note: Due to the large turnout, expect delays & holding (make sure you bring plenty of fuel). Also, please be patient when trying to depart as there always seems to be a lot going on in a short space of time. Everybody will eventually get airborne, no need to panic.
    ===================================
I'll be going live from about 1300z over on Twitch. As always there will be giveaways for those who are active in the chat. The update will go live at approximately 1330z, which will give people enough time to check out the new features and then plan their flight.
That's all from me, see you tomorrow!
    Cheers,
    Matt.

Sadly there was no official ATC-request by Matt Davies or any other organisators . Possibly he has aranged Eurocontrol. But this is just a guess...

I find that to be a pity as well.
Let's see who will be on tomorrow. I'll decide last minute whether or not I feel like saying "identified" 200 times in a row.
