SID Changes Gatwick AIRAC 1704
Hello Everyone
Just found the following Information in the BA-Virtual briefing room. This does not only concernes BAV-Members, but all pilots flying to Gatwick. I am forwarding this to you, so you are aware of those changes in one of the airspaces with the highest traffic upcome on VATSIM.
So Update your charts according to the AIRACS.Incorporation: AIRAC 1704
GATWICK SID CHANGES
Introduction
Effective 30 March 17 (AIRAC cycle 1704) there will be an alteration to LGW SIDs ex runway 08R.
Pilots operating ex-LGW are advised to consider updating their charts & navdata accordingly.
Summary of Changes
Runway 08R:
BIG2Z, CLN2Z and ODVIK2Z replace BIG1Z, CLN1Z and ODVIK1Z respectively.
The RNAV fix KKE02 is replaced with a new fix KKE04 which increases the straight-ahead climb portion of the SID by 1.2nm.
