New sectorfile / Charts Update / SOP Update

Dear all

Tomorrow, some bigger changes are being implemented. The Swiss Radar sectors (_CTR) will experience changes regarding sectorisation as well some stations will receive new frequencies. WEF is 11.12.2014.

As a result, the new sectorfile and updated documents will be released tomorrow, 11.12.2014.

The files are:

- New sectorfile
- LSAS SOP
- LSZH Charts
- LSGG Charts
- LSZH SOP
- LSGG SOP
- LSAS Sector Allocation
- LSAS Quick Ref
- SID/STAR Quick Ref
- Trackmiles LSZH/LSGG

I would like to thank the OPS team, especially Jonas Kuster, Nicolas Ammann and Michael Kühne. You all have done a great job over the last months. Thank you for the great work on this huge update.

As well a big thank to GNG (Global Nav Generator) which created a great sectorfile. GNG will be our partner for future sectorfile updates.

That is a big heap of work, split to many people!

A massve thanks to all of you from me as well.
You guys hardly had any time to fly, control or give lessons or even go to work over the past few weeks while putting together all the last pieces of the puzzle.

I myself and I'm sure the entire community is sincerely greatful for your efforts. I'm proud to work alongside such dedicated characters.

First many thanks for the updates and I tried to install the new sectorfile etc with the Installation Guide.
I try to install the automatic update inside euroscope but I can't see a "AeroNav GNG LSAS vACC Switzerland" in the top select box. I only have "AeroNav GNG File Provider" like in the printscreen on page 3.

I am not sure that I have done everything right.

Jonas has uploaded most files today! The sector file has been rolled out as well.

Regarding the sector file: Please do a complete clean installation as described in chapter 2 of the Installation Guide. Note that we have not yet rolled out the update package (as nobody can make an update yet). Therefore the updates as described in chapters 3 and 4 are currently not available. Please wait until an update has been announced.


As a last remark, PLEASE report any (also small) bugs of the sector file, charts or documents to the email address given in the first post of this thread.

Known bugs in the sector file:
- Automatic vATIS generation of LSZR and LSZG currently not working.

Update done. SweatBox-Server with new Files and Michi's Scenario-Files works fine. Thanks a lot to the OPS/ATC - Team.
