Q2 Report ATC Training Department
Q2 of 2014 just closed and it is time for a short look back to this quarter.
The ATC Training Department had some personal changes during the last quater. Thomas von Ah accepted the position as ATC Training Deputy ACCSUI13 and already proofed to be a very helpful hand :D
In addition, we were able to recruit two new mentors, Mark Nelson and Marco Bähler, who started to offer Basic Lessons. Once again, welcome to the team.
With the latest changes, we currently have eight mentors and five examiners active in Switzerland. They offered 52 lessons in Q2 which resulted in 45 trainings, which even is more than during the busy Q1 (44 offers, 37 trainings) and and almost twice the minimum target :D
A total of nine rating progressions have been achieved by our members. Once again, congrats to those how have achieved a new rating.
Please join me in thanking all mentors and examiners for their effort! Lastly I would like to thank all active controllers how have staffed our Swiss airports for many hours in the last quater.
