Dear Directors of Europe,
As some of you may be aware, this year another edition of the famous FSWeekend will take place at the Aviodrome in Lelystad, the Netherlands. This event is said to be *the biggest international FS Event in the world*. This year the event takes place on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd November. All information about this weekend can be found on
www.fsweekend.com .
The reason I am sending you this e-mail is because we, the Dutch VACC, might be attending this year again. With exception of the last two years, we have attended all editions of the FSWeekend. A few years ago VACC Hungary joined us as well, and I believe we had a great time. I'd like to know whether your members would be interested in joining this event too.
There are some pros and cons:
Pros
- It is a great opportunity to promote VATSIM to a big public. IVAO will be there for sure ;-).
- If you join us, we are allowed to bring more people together. Alone, we are limited to 10 people at most.
- These are two great days full of flight simulation and other aviation enthusiasts.
- You can meet your VATSIM colleagues/friends.
Cons
- You'll have to pay transportation and hotel costs. Attendance is free, and you'll get a free lunch.
- You'll have to bring a computer or laptop with you in order to demonstrate what we are doing.
Deadline for applying organisations is September 20th. An official information document in English can be requested via
info@fsweekend.com. In case you are interested in joining, could you please send me an e-mail no later than September 1st, because that is the day we will be discussing our participation within in our own staff.
If you have any questions, feel free to drop me an e-mail or contact me via Skype.
Best regards,
Stefan Blauw Director Dutch VACC
