On Saturday 13th of July, 1700-19.30 UTC, Nairobi hosts the S3 exam of Mr. Aaqib Afzal on Nairobi Approach. Please help Aaqib to earn his rating. Welcome are all sorts of IFR + VFR in- and outbounds of Nairobi - Jomo Kenyatta airport (HKJK). Make a domestic flight to typical Air Kenya destinations. The approach airspace contains the VFR airport of Nairobi Wilson (HKNW) as well.

Short IFR flight destinations are Entebbe (HUEN), Kilimanjaro (HTKJ), Kigali (HRYR) and Mombasa (HKMO). A bit wider are Mogadishu (HCMM) and the Seychelles (FSIA).


For all VFR lovers, there are VFR entry and exit marker. Have a look at the control zone chart (see below!) and test our candidate there as well! X-Plane pilots can use the new scenery for the smaller Nairobi airports and the VFR markers (see below!).


So get your big irons out or your light private planes and help Aaqib with a good amount of traffic during his exam.
