[28th December] Zürich

Hi all,


As previously discussed on the Discord, I have function in Zürich for a couple of days but will be free on the afternoon and evening of the 28th of December (returning to Geneva on the morning of the 29th). As such, I would love to meet any of you for a dinner and/or drinks during that time if you are free! If so, please write here or by PM on Discord to gauge interest.

Also I'm open to hearing if anyone has any restaurant recommendations (I'm of course already familiar with the bars).

I would be available for an early dinner around 18:00 local because I have to leave at Zurich HB at 20:15 for Night shift unfortunalety. Open for any restaurants.

If that's too early for all the others no worries, look what suits best for the others.

I would sort myself to be in Zurich for around 17:30ish local for an early dinner as well.
Open to any restaurants too.

I will be there too, I think the Giardino in Kloten would be a pretty good choice, it is easily accessible and the prices are fair

Lovely, the list should be up to date now. Unless anyone has a better proposal, we can set the location to be the Giardino Pizzeria in Kloten at 18h. I'll make a Discord group to coordinate plans for the afternoon.

Happy to join as well, but need to leave early in order to make it in front of my screen at 1945 LT to take an exam.

Therefore I would appreciate a location with a short travel time to Stettbach. There are many, many restaurants in Zurich of course. One I know and which could be suitable is Commihalle near Central/Main Station. Or if you want to go for burger, there is Silberkugel in Oerlikon. And for Schnitzel the Schnitzerlhuus. Or Pub style in Schwammendingen: http://saatlen-pub.ch/ (they have very fair prices).

The Commihalle looks very nice, for shure easy reachable by train/tram

For the location: I only know and like the Giardino in Kloten, but also could imagine to get to see a different place. Regarding time, there are no constraints given to me. 18 lcl fits well.

Alright, thanks to all for your input on the poll and your suggestions. I therefore propose that we meet tomorrow at 18h at the Commihalle near HB unless anyone has a specific objection. In any case, the reservation for 10 people has been made.
