[Every second Thursday of the Month, 19-21z] Alpine Crossing

Join us at vACC Switzerland together with French vACC at our monthly Alpine Crossing Event between Geneva LSGG and Nice LFMN. The colder weather can be kind of gloomy and we invite you to either flee to Nice for some sun or head towards Geneva as your starting point for some winter sports! We will be staffing these airports every second Thursday of the month between 1900 and 2100 UTC. Enjoy excellent ATC between these two airports which provide an enjoyable short hop for your evening. We hope to see you there!

Besten Dank an alle (insb. Alex für den Service in Zürich), ich habe den Event heute für einen Turnaround GVA-ZRH-GVA genutzt. Ich hoffe ihr hattet in Genf eine gute Anzahl an Flugbewegungen! Das Wetter war also auch im Sim interessant, nicht nur draussen im echten Leben auf der Strasse.

What a great first event!

Thank you to all pilots and Controllers!

I am seeing forward for many times of that event and that it will be running as good as it did yesterday!

Just hoping the arrival and departure numbers would be more balanced. (From my feeling we had about twice as much departures as we had arrivals at Geneva. But I think that will balance itself during the next repetitions.)

The 11th edition of the Alpine Crossing was also the last one in this event series! But of course, there will be the next great event series. What we can say for now: Geneva and the French vACC will be part of it on the second Thursday of the month. Stay tuned B-)
